The Friends of Barnhill Rock Garden

Formally constituted in 1997, the Friends of the Barnhill Rock Garden is a recognized Scottish charity, whose main purpose is to promote and support the Garden, ensuring this unique facility has a secure future. The first Friends group in the City formed to support a public park, it is widely held as an example of what can be achieved through community participation. .

The Friends are encouraged to play an active part in the garden including helping to maintain a number of beds which would otherwise be lost to cultivation and assisting with the propagation of plant material.
