The Friends of Barnhill Rock Garden

Formally constituted in 1997, the Friends of the Barnhill Rock Garden is a recognized Scottish charity, whose main purpose is to promote and support the Garden, ensuring this unique facility has a secure future.

The first Friends group in the City formed to support a public park, it is widely held as an example of what can be achieved through community participation.

The Friends are encouraged to play an active part in the garden including helping to maintain a number of beds which would otherwise be lost to cultivation and assisting with the propagation of plant material.
